After a highly successful CBS Upfront Presentation, The Production Plant gets back in the saddle with NBC Sports and welcomes our latest client, creative agency, Loaded Pixel.

Max has been mixing campaigns for F1, Indy Car, NHL and The Kentucky Derby/Triple Crown, when he is not doing that he recently completed a new Suave campaign and various promotional materials for the Unilever family of products as well as completing a documentary by Dale Lindquist of Fordham University. Spot Welders wrapped up their stay at The Production Plant and Nutz is prepping the edit suites for the upcoming CBS Upfronts.

Spot Welders is joining us this week for two rooms of video edit for their advertising clients, Jon Tropea Jr. is in Studio A Mixing a new series for A&E and Max is in Studio B working on weekly spots for the NHL on NBC.

Max is hard at work on the new F1 and Major League Soccer campaigns for NBC Sports. He also just helped put together several pieces for Suave and Fashion Star on NBC featuring Nicole Ritchie.

This week at The Production Plant we are doing 2 days of ADR for the feature film ASOP with engineer Andrew Kay and getting ready for some more big film projects later this year.

Today we start cutting promos for the next season of Tosh.0 on Comedy Central, we will be at it for the next month and a half so make sure you tune in and catch our work on air!

It was great having the crew from Flea Market Flips working out of our Production Space. Hope to work with them again in the near future.

We have two edit suites being used by Comedy Central; our production space is being used for wardrobe for a commercial; and our Audio Engineer is booked with mixes; it’s great to have a full house!

Today we bid a fond farewell to our summer intern John Sepa as he heads back to college, and we welcome our new intern, Sean McDevlin.

We are excited to have some folks from Comedy Central here editing in our facility this week. The room is fully outfitted; including a Flanders Scientific monitor, an HDCam SR deck and external storage and battery back-up.

We did sound design, Foley and a 5.1 mix for the feature length film Travelling Salesman. The film is about four mathematicians who’ve been hired by the government to solve the most elusive problem in computer science history. Keep a look out for it.

This past Sunday, we had the pleasure of hosting the lovely and talented Sheryl Lee Ralph as she joined forces with Food for the Soul to launch a new show. In addition to utilizing our wonderful space as the set of her talk show, the BritesShot Luminator was used extensively.

As of last week 2 BriteShot Luminators were rented for use on the set of Blue Bloods, shot right here in lower Manhattan.

The Luminator has been getting quite a bit of use on the set of Home: the Film. The crew have been utilizing the Luminator’s built in effects to simulate moon light, as well as police and ambulance sirens. More information about the film, cast and crew can be found on the movies website. Post production for Moving Day is moving along quite nicely thanks to the color correction work done by Moritz Fortmann. Audio and graphics are next. Stay Tuned!

We welcome Roger Guillen and Dan Maier today, who will be mixing spots for NBC Olympics in Studio A.

After multiple re-schedules due to weather, Roy finally shot his short, “Moving Day”.  Those of us who weren’t at the shoot are excited to see the footage!
